Here at Ireland Park Dentistry, we are passionate about doing the best that we can for our patients, and we believe this starts with a foundation of trust from day one. We hope that you have experienced and felt that trust throughout our relationship together. We view our patients as integral parts of our dental family and very much value our relationship and the opportunity to serve you and your family.

We wanted to take this opportunity to inform you of a decision that we have made, that may impact how your insurance would work with our office. As of now, we have spent the last 6-12 months considering our in-network status with several dental insurance networks, which involves various dental insurance companies. The networks include Aetna, Ameritas, Anthem, Connection Dental, Dental Health Alliance, Dentemax, Guardian Dental Guard and MetLife. We have been weighing the pros and cons from various perspectives so that we can make the best decision for our patients, our team, and our practice. We have decided that as of March 1, 2025, we will no longer be in network with these listed networks and their subsidiaries.

We want to ensure that you understand what this change means. To help you understand what could happen, we’ve compiled some Frequently Asked Questions about how insurance could change when we are no longer in-network with Aetna, Ameritas, Anthem, Connection Dental, Dental Health Alliance, Dentemax, Guardian Dental Guard and MetLife in March of 2025. 

Q: I understand that you are going out of network with several different companies. How do I know if my insurance plan is included in that list?

Q: It sounds like you will no longer be accepting my Dental Insurance in March 2025. What does this mean?

Q: What is the difference between being an In-Network provider with these insurance networks versus being Out-Of-Network but still accepting these insurances?

Q: I have dental Insurance through one of these networks above, and I am an Active Patient at your practice. May I still see you as my dentist?

Q: I need to choose a new dental plan for 2025 and I was looking at one of the above networks for my possible insurance. Can I still choose one of these networks or plans as my dental insurance?

Q: I heard that you are not accepting any new patients with the above insurance plans. I’ve been a patient here for several years and my spouse or child would like to come see you. Would you accept our Dental Insurance for my spouse or child?
