• The networks that we are going out of network with as of March 1, 2025 are the following: Aetna, Ameritas, Anthem, Connection Dental, Dental Health Alliance, Dentemax, Guardian Dental Guard and Metlife. Please understand that we will still be accepting these plans, even after March 1.

• You may absolutely continue to see us as your dentist! We would be sad if you left!

• We are still in-network with your insurance, at this time, and you may continue to see us in the same way and will have the same benefits as you always have.

• We are no longer going to be in-network as of March 2025, but we will continue to accept your insurance. • Even with this change, you can continue to see us as your Healthcare Provider. We will still be accepting your Dental insurance, and you may absolutely continue to see us! Your out-of-pocket expense may increase on some dental procedures and not on others.

• After you’ve read through our FAQs, if you’d like more information, one of our Front Desk Team members would be happy to review things with you in more detail. 

• Being an in-network provider with Aetna, Ameritas, Anthem, Connection Dental, Dental Health Alliance,  Dentemax, Guardian Dental Guard and MetLife is what we have been for the last few years.

• This means that we are beholden to certain contractual obligations put forth by these networks.

• Being Out-of-Network means that we do not sign a contract with these insurance networks.

• We will still accept these insurance networks and all the plans that are within them and submit claims on your behalf.

• You may absolutely continue to see us as your dentist! We would be sad if you left!

• We are still in-network with your insurance throughout 2024 and into the beginning of 2025, and you may continue to see us in the same way and will have the same benefits as you always have during that time.

• When we go out-of-network with them in March 2025 we will continue to accept your insurance.

• This does not mean you cannot continue to see us as your Healthcare Provider. We will still be accepting your dental insurance, and you may absolutely continue to see us!

• Your out-of-pocket expense may increase on some dental procedures and not on others. If you’d like more information, one of our Front Desk Team members would be happy to review things with you in more detail, though some specifics we may not have until after the change has occurred.

• You may still choose any of these dental networks for your dental insurance as we will still be in network with that insurance for the rest of 2024 and through February of 2025. Even when we do go out of network in March of 2025, we will still accept that insurance.

• You can ask your insurance provider about the difference between out-of-network and in-network benefits with your plan, so that you know how it will look both ways.

• If you would like a different option for dental insurance, we are also in network with these insurance companies: Cigna, Delta Dental, HRI, United Concordia and United Health Care.

• We are so appreciative of your loyalty as a patient! We will of course see your spouse or child as a patient of the practice.

• We are still accepting new patients with all of these insurance networks, as we are going to continue to accept all of these plans, we just won’t be considered in-network as of March 1, 2025.

 We do want to mention:

• We are still in-network with your insurance now through February, 2025.

• We will be going out-of-network in March 2025. When we move forward with this change, you and your family will still be able to see us as a patient, and we will still be accepting your insurance, we will just be considered out-of-network with your insurance plan.

• Your out-of-pocket expenses may increase on some dental procedures and not on others.

• If you’d like more information, one of our Front Desk Team members would be happy to review things with you in more detail, though some specifics we may not have until after the change has occurred. 

• Insurance plans can vary greatly, depending on what kind of plan you have.

• Some plans will have little to no difference in benefits, while others will have differences between in and out-of-network benefits.

• The way to best get this information is to speak with your insurance plan, but our team will be here to help along the way.

• Our decision has been made, and we will be out-of-network with Aetna, Ameritas, Anthem, Connection Dental, Dental Health Alliance, Dentemax, Guardian Dental Guard and MetLife as of March 1 st, 2025.

• We will send our patients a letter in the mail.

• In addition, we will send the same letter via email.

• We will also be letting our patients know when they are in our office or when we speak to them on the phone and will be available for additional questions.

• Patient care is most important to all of us at Ireland Park Dentistry.

• In the ever-changing world, especially post-Covid, Ireland Park Dentistry, and dentistry as a whole, has had to evolve. These dental insurance networks have not evolved with us.

• We do not feel that our patient-centered philosophy aligns with these dental insurance networks.

• We feel it has been hindering us in our ability to care for our patients in the way that we would like to.

• We most certainly will!

• Even when we are out-of-network with these insurance networks, in March 2025, we will still file your claims for you, on your behalf.

• Currently, we are out-of-network with some insurance companies already and many patients already see us as an out-of-network provider!

We plan to continue to be your Dental Health Care Provider and are here to help you with your due diligence as you determine what is best for your family’s dental care in 2025, as we make this change in March, 2025. We wanted to notify you of this change now to provide you with education so that you might know all your potential options in 2025.

Just remember that you can keep Ireland Park Dentistry as your Dental Healthcare Provider, even when we are out-of-network with your insurance plan. In addition, we will still accept Aetna, Ameritas, Anthem, Connection Dental, Dental Health Alliance, Dentemax, Guardian Dental Guard and MetLife, no matter what, and we will continue to send claims on behalf of all our patients, whether we are considered in, or out-of-network with their insurance plan.

Lastly, please know nothing will change with your insurance or our network status through the end of 2024 and through February of 2025.
